100 lives for 10. Yes it is unbalanced. I completely agree. The Palestinians are the ones who are suffering the most in this conflict. And a democratically elected leadership in Palestine gets the cold shoulder from the world.
democratically elected leadership that launched rockets on israel for the last 8 years, and now when we reply on one big ass kicking, they cry?
who's talking about god?
I do feel sorry for the NOT-HAMAS citizens being killed, but you must say it's just DISGRACEFUL that the DEMOCRATICALLY elected leadership is shooting at israel FROM SCHOOLS, HOUSES AND SUCH - so that they could cry afterwords and say "look what israel has done, they kill kids, they kill innocent people"...

I was actually watching a war movie today and it made me feel so lucky... as childish as that sounds. But the generations before me lived through something painful... and my generation, living on the other side of the world, is going through something just as bad.
How can anyone see our past and wish to continue with it into the future.
As bad as this is going to sound (yes I know, its simply stupid) but I just wish we could all have world peace. Whats stopping it?

I agree, Hamas attacks need to be stopped. But the Gaza strip has been in blockade since early last year. Hardly any food or medicine arrive in Gaza. Children are malnourished from Israeli imposed sanctions. Then the bombings happen and with low medical supplies how are Gazan's supposed to cope? Almost no food. Almost no medicine. Oh WAIT, Israel just allowed U.N. relief workers and medicine in. We should all be thankful!
8 years vs. about 60 years. How one sided is that? 100 lives for 10.
How would you react if you were on the other side of the partition?
I believe it's the X factor, where X is the environment a human is born into - the leaders of the country, the parents as a model for what is right, the education, etc.
When X is "we hate something" - like, education that teaches evil, a leader who brainwashes his followers - the human who's environment is that X will believe he hates something.
Afterward, someone charismatic comes and say "all who lived X should follow me, with me we all could fulfill that X" - and they will, because they had it brainwashed into them, educated into them, and now they found someone who understands them.
So i think it's people who want power and are smart and has had evil X in their lives and are charismatic will build groups of evil X that all together in this planet, stops peace from happening. like terrorist groups for example.
But you could ask "what came first, the chicken or the egg" but i think it goes far far inside our deepest wishes to be someone, to be remembered.

That argument works both ways. The Torah for centuries has proclaimed in Israeli hearts that they are destined to inhabit Jerusalem and the land known as Israel. Despite the Philistines living there first, the land is taken away. The Philistines are persecuted and enslaved. Turn the clock to the 1945's and 50's and the same thing, that X factor you speak of, the X factor which is blazened in the hearts and minds of Christians and Jews around the world - says that Israel must me born again. To what cost? This mentality makes it alright for the people living in the Middle East to tolerate and deal with the American purchased bombs and helicopter attacks.
lol Gaza receives infinite amounts of cash but the HAMAS takes them and buy\builds rockets to shoot at israel. What, you didn't know that?
A wish for gaza: what would happen if HAMAS sell all their missiles to buy medical supplies and food - oh they would be so healthy and full, believe me.
Israel attacks now because of 8 years of bombing from Gaza, so if Gaza will have no rockets and even buy medicines instead of rockets - there would not have been a war right now. Because HAMAS would not have bombed us for 8 years, and Gaza would have been prospering, but - the sad thing is - the HAMAS shoots rockets from schools at israel citizens, not at army bases - and takes the money he can buy medicines with, and instead builds\buys rockets.
yeah.

You forget how Hamas got elected. They provided services to the Palestinian people that they were receiving.
If Israel, instead of cluster bomb attacks invested that money into helping the Palestinian people, would Hamas stand a chance in hell of being in control?
Devious Comments

God is not just for Israel, God loves everyone.
